BaFBr:Eu^(2+) phosphors were fabricated and trap parameters of thermoluminescence were determined by heating rate method. The glow curve of BaFBr:Eu^(2+) consists of three peaks when the heating rate is 4 ¡É/s. The temperatures of peaks are 79 ¡É, 175 ¡É and 292 ¡É. To determine the trap parameters, the heating rate changed from 2 ¡É/s to 10 ¡É/s when we measured the glow curve. As a result of heating rate method, the activation energy are 0.98, 1.38 and 1.91 eV, the kinetic order are 1.20, 2.54 and 1.46, the frequency factor are 6.7¡¿10©ö©ø, 2.4¡¿10^(15) and 7.9¡¿10^(16) s^(-1), for each peaks.
